On October 31, 2023, "Your Tech Matters" Batch 4 community dinner event was held at Skinny Dip Chillax, Jakarta. This event, organized by Lyrid in collaboration with BiznetGio Cloud, aimed to facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and a memorable experience within the tech industry.

This wasn't just any ordinary gathering; it was the culmination of 1.5 months of planning and coordination between Lyrid and BiznetGio Cloud. The event aimed to create a unique atmosphere for networking and knowledge exchange, especially within up and coming tech and investment arms.

The response and interest towards the event was remarkable, with over 140 eager individuals registering. While an event accommodating for each and every registrant is certainly in Lyrid’s cards, due to space restraints each registrant underwent a vetting process, only allowing for 30 participants. This approach guarantees a diverse and high-quality gathering while adhering to the policies of the partnered venue.

With 32 confirmed participants, the event achieved an impressive level of commitment and marked a significant improvement from the last iteration, receiving only 4 event withdrawals. Moreover, the event's impact extended further as 1-2 attendees extended invitations to their colleagues, adding an additional 4-5 new participants to the roster.

One of the event's standout features was the participation of esteemed Venture Capital firms. Attendees had the exclusive opportunity to engage with representatives from Silicon Valley Investclub, DS/X Ventures, and ATM Capital. Their presence added an exciting layer of potential collaboration and investment, as well as opened the door for many attendees.

Organizing an event of this magnitude presents its own set of challenges. As the event date neared, new attendees surfaced, necessitating swift adjustments to seating arrangements and menu plans. We seamlessly manage this surge in participation by adding more tables and reconfiguring the layout.

An integral part of the event was the chance for attendees to deliver elevator pitches, introducing their companies, products, and services. Each company was given a maximum of 1.5 minutes to present. This not only elevated brand exposure but also fostered invaluable networking opportunities, sparking the interest of potential investors.

With the topic, "Establishing a Resilient Tech Startup in Indonesia: Challenges and Opportunities," conversations were steered on how startups can bolster their resilience in a rapidly evolving landscape. The insightful presentations were led by Hermon Christian Y. Tjandi, Vice President of Business Development and Operations at Lyrid, and Raymond Englebert Angdrianto Ang, Senior Manager of Sales and Business Development at Biznet Gio Cloud. Additionally, Kevin Ciang, CEO of WoiLo, a valued partner of Lyrid, shared his expertise as a special speaker.
